# Search

> Search and filter feature flags on the Flags overview page or within a project, and search projects on the Projects page.

Unleash provides search and filtering to help you find feature flags and projects:

* To search and filter feature flags across all projects, use the **Flags overview** page.
* To search and filter feature flags within a single project, open the project and use its flag list.
* To search projects, use the search bar on the **Projects** page.

## Search feature flags

The search bar at the top of the Flags overview page and the project flag list performs a full-text search across flag names and descriptions.

To search for multiple keywords, separate them with a comma. Multiple keywords act as an OR condition, so results include flags that match any of the keywords. Because the comma acts as a separator, you can't search for text that contains a comma.

## Filter feature flags

Click **Add filter** to filter the flag list. The following filters are available:

* **Created by**: Select one or more users to show flags created by any of them.
* **Created date**: Filter flags by creation date, using the **On or after** or **Is before** operators.
* **Favorite**: Show flags you have marked as favorites.
* **Flag type**: Filter flags by their flag type.
* **Last seen**: Filter flags based on when an SDK last reported them.
* **Project**: On the Flags overview page, filter flags by project, using the **Is**, **Is not**, **Is any of**, or **Is none of** operators.
* **Segment** and **Tags**: Filter flags by the segments or tags they use, with operators to include or exclude one or more values: **Include**, **Do not include**, **Include all of**, **Include any of**, **Exclude if any of**, and **Exclude all**.
* **State**: Filter active or stale flags, using the **Is** or **Is not** operators.

## Search projects

To find a project, use the search bar at the top of the Projects page.

## Search using the API

Search and filtering are also available through the Admin API. All filters and operators work the same way as in the Admin UI.
